If you are not a local person, here is some information on Woking to help get you there and back again.

TRAIN

Woking is a mainline BR station with direct trains from London Waterloo, Portsmouth, Southampton and Exeter. Main line stations are served such as Basingstoke, Salisbury, Surbiton, Weybridge, Winchester, Wimbledon.

Look up the train times using: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

TAXI : Available at the front and rear of the Station.

BUS : The town side of the station has a bus rank, catch the no.xx for the Leisure Centre.

WALKING from the Station: the best way is to :

Come out of the back of Woking Station. Turn right along Station Approach.

At the end of the road use the crossing to get to the other side of the road.

Walk to the right past the Courts and Police Station (on your left).

Walk along Guildford Road until you reach a junction with the Litton Tree pub in front of you.

Take the left hand fork down Constitution Hill.

Halfway down on the left there will be the Park Gates. The Park is well lit and the paths are clearly seen. Turn into the Park down the slight hill. Take the first turning on the right and walk straight until you see the Car Park in front (The Pool will be on your left).

Use the Path on the left hand side of the Car Park to walk up to the entrance to the Leisure Centre. Or there is always a Map …..   www.streetmap.co.uk

Take –down:    

Sun 11th      08.00 - 18.00 (Lunch is provided)
